Machine learning research at MIT and UC Santa Cruz
I do machine learning research. This September, four of my papers were accepted at NeurIPS 2026 workshops, including a solo-author oral. I'm first author on a clinical-LM paper under review at NeurIPS 2026 through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and I co-founded Substrate Labs, an independent AI-safety research lab. I'm a high school senior in Vancouver.
Born in Hong Kong, raised across the US, Chile, Japan, and Canada.
